Business Development Executive (Field-Based)

XceedIQ is a leading EdTech company dedicated to transforming education through innovative solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to join our team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for securing school deals and expanding our presence in the education sector. This is a field-based position that requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of the education industry, and a proven track record in business development.

Responsibilities:
 

  1. Identify and target schools and educational institutions to promote XceedIQ's products and services.

  2. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through effective lead generation and prospecting techniques.

  3. Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the education market to identify trends, opportunities, and competition.

  4. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including principals, administrators, and educational leaders.

  5. Present and demonstrate XceedIQ's solutions to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value proposition and benefits.

  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop tailored sales materials, presentations, and proposals for targeted schools.

  7. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with potential clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached.

  8. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.

  9. Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in the education industry and incorporate relevant insights into sales strategies.

Requirements:
 

  1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in EdTech sales or 5+ years of overall business development experience.

  2. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the education sector.

  3. Deep knowledge of the education industry, including an understanding of school operations, curriculum, and technology integration.

  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.

  5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.

  6. Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  7. Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet with clients and prospects.

  8. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and generate reports.

Salary:

       Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
